As founder of DKW Communications, Debbie Katz Weisberg brings over twenty years public relations, writing, retail and fashion experience to her clients. Prior to starting DKW Communications, Weisberg was co-owner of Leary & Co. Public Relations, a Needham MA based consumer PR agency. Weisberg created and implemented fully integrated, strategic communications campaigns for such high profile clients as T.J. Maxx, HomeGoods, Redcats USA, Chadwicks, Finagle A Bagel, Altitude Inc., Bertucci’s and Devonshire Investors, among others. Agency services included booking national, regional and online media tours, press events, development of collateral materials, spokesperson training, crisis communications and special events.
In addition to her agency work, Weisberg has written professionally for newspapers and magazines. She became a contributing writer to the Boston Globe Magazine, Community Magazine and AOL. Her book, The Fashion Lover’s Guide to Incredible Bargains, was published in 2009 by Frederick Fells Publishing. The non fiction guide, sold in bookstores throughout the country as well as online, features a mix of humorous shopping anecdotes, fashion and wardrobe tips and a well edited resource guide for finding high end luxury bargains at below retail prices. |

Weisberg’s agency experience also spanned an eight year stints at Ingalls, Quinn & Johnson as a VP/Management Supervisor She oversaw a variety of retail clients, including the T.J. Maxx account. Under her supervision, the agency team grew to encompass ten public relations staff members. Weisberg traveled across the country conducting hundreds of television, news paper and magazine interviews on the “thrill” of off-price retailing. She started out at the advertising and public relations agency as an account executive.
Weisberg holds a Master of Science degree from Boston University College of Communication and a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of New Hampshire.
